Shakespere said ’whats in name ?’. I think he was’nt exactly rite. name of a person speaks a lot about his personality. I m not talking about the routine names that parents give us, but about those ones, that we have acquired out of our character
The hisotry of human names is intresting as well. its said that most of the ppl have got names from their profession. the theroy of ’karma’ looks a universal one. for ex, take one of the most popular names in india - ’gandhi’, now this surname has come out of the word - ’gandi’, the class of ppl whos used to sell ’gandh’ or perfumes; for centuries they practised that profession , n hence gradually, ppl started saying them as ’gandhi’. similerly, the word ’curious’ came in honor of Madam ’Curie’, as a trait for a character whose alway inquisitive as her.
And as far as our ’ganda bandas’ gang was concerned, we too enjoyed naming every person of our class, we had fun doing that. like there was a chap, his hands were awfully long; so me named him ’kanoon’ cause as they say ’kanoon ke haath bahut lambe hote hai’ ! they were a lot of other names that we cioned in those days, but most of them r unmentionable ones, so I wont go in detials as MS has already deleted last 6 of my revus, so I m looking to break the agonic deletion jinx......
I was browsing for some intresting ID in MS, n I have got a decent list with me. Some of them r popular n obvious, some of them r new, but I m only presenting the names , which I found funny, they may not be well known ones. So here go :
Lallupanju - hehe. there is a sweetu-cutu-chabbu-fatu lady in the MS profile pic, most of u must be aware of this ID. lallupanju basically means a novice, one who does’nt know much of any thing, in hindi we say, ’arre mujhe koi lallupanju samjha hai kya ?’ (do you think I m a fool / lesser on brain kind of person), but this ID seems so have no airs abour here cerebrum hemisphere. I like most of her revus, n I must tell u - some of them really justifies her id , .... n I m not kidding, hehe.
Panga_na_lliyo - there is a man, some gud 10 foots above the ground, with his legs aiming agressively to the unseen target, n the ID reads ’Panga_na_liyo’ (don mess with me). his revus r ramblings over ramblings over some more ramblings. before I read them, I thought I m undisputed rambler, but damn, there is so much competition around ! I luv attitude of this man, n dispite his confusing scripts, I know what’s cooking in his mind, jus beacuse, in deeper sense, he’s my type... This ID is both fundo n funny.
rocobaroco - this is the best id I have come across till date. I was checking the ’r’ list, when this id caught my attention. he looks new to ms, has’nt written nething till date, but the id is fundo for sure , roco ba roco, n the name reads, ’Somebody stop me ’ ! jus loooovvveeeddd this id.; looks like this chap has even managed to get a fake pic of ’Premjit’, one of the best riters MS ever have produced. neways, a very wacky id.
nikamma1112 - nikamma means useless, this fello is a sindhi, n I was surprised that his ’sindhiness’ never interfered with his sense of humor. most of his revus r fun to read, although nowadays, he is not riting consistently in MS, as he used to.. still a very funny id, n for sure he’s a funny man, sindhi, but still ... witty. great achivement bro ....
lots of other funny ids in MS, I know most of them I guess, what abt u guys ?can we have a funny comment column pls, . there r not many subjects in MS that really set u jumping, so don miss out on this one. n I wan more of these ’hatke’ subjects to b revued by u ppl, I will give u the list of some of ’these kin f subjects’ in my next revu.
sometimes, I really feel MS site needs a facelift from those routine, proper proper, ’intel inside’ kin f revus, n these light hearted subjects do help.... so all of ya - don let this opportunity go....
