Bollywood hunks

When one thinks of good actors, a lot of names come to mind like Naseeruddin Shah, Om Puri, Amol Palekar and late Utpal Dutt, but since I am suppose to write about the ?Handsome Ones?, I?d have to name a few, I am not too fond of. The following are the handsome hunks of Bollywood in no respective order:

  1. Hritik Roshan- Though even a glimpse of his extra-thumb freaks me out, I think one has to admit, he is a ?hunka-hunka burning love?. Not only does he always look fresh as a dewy rose petal, he comes across as a real ?nice guy?. He reminds me of the ?Mohan? we all read about in the moral science class, who?d get up every morning at dawn, touch his parent?s feet and start off his day with a bhajan.

He seems incapable of a single harsh word. The ideal son, the ideal husband. As for his looks, do I really need to? He is tall, handsome and real ?pretty?. In KNPH, many girls liked him in the first half, with stubble and the boyish looks, but I personally liked him in the second half with a neat look and a kewl bike. Though he is great, can?t say the same about all his movies. For instance, Yadein or even Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. Guess he couldn?t refuse offers from such Big Banners!

  1. John Abraham- A girl once said to me, ?I hate Bipasha?, on asking her ?why? she replied, ?she sleeps with every guy I get a crush on?. Yes, this lucky lady has dated many good looking men including Dino Morea and John Abraham, who she is currently with. Somehow Dino doesn?t appeal to me. I don?t find him attractive and his being half-italian doesn?t help much either (contrary to what some people think), he has the sleaze associated with a stereotypical Italian male but not his raw sexual appeal.

John Abraham, on the other hand as we all know is half-iranian and half malyalee and seems to have picked up just the right traits from both sides. Could we call him a poor man?s Antonio Banderas? May be, I should refrain from saying that lest I upset his huge fan following. But as I said, he is gorgeous, and is a decent actor. He won many hearts in Jism and even the hard to get ones couldn?t resist him in Dhoom.

  1. Arjun Rampal- You might argue that I am listing models but then they are also actors and since this review is about the best-looking ones, acting is no consideration. Now, if you want to know how he started off, he was actually discovered by ace designer Rohit Bal in a discotheque. And another fact about him is that he dated Malini Ramani for a while.

If you happen to be a delhiite, you must have seen her on Page 3. As to why he made my list, all I?ll say is that he is probably the best looking guy in the industry. He has a great face and a good body and a voice to go with it. Even Milind Soman, another model and actor commented on his good looks. The only thing ?negative? I could find about him is that he?s married.

  1. Salman Khan- I am not his fan and though he seems to be the blue eyed boy of media these days, I don?t feel he has learnt much from his past mistakes. Though I have to admit he is indeed quite good looking and has worked hard on his body. He already had a huge fan following and has earned sympathy after his ?accident.? He wears good clothes and hangs out with the pretty ladies so overall a Hunk.

  2. Jackie Shroff- I was a fan of his till I saw him prancing around in speedos or briefs (some kind of swim wear) in Rangeela. I think he is quite a handsome guy as long as he has clothes on! He looked great in a dhoti in Devdas and he simply looks good in everything he wears, from casual to formal suits. Though he can look a bit sleazy at times, he is attractive and has an appealing ?bindaas? attitude.

PS. It?s been said before and I?d say it again that a man/woman?s worth cannot and should not be judged by how he/she looks. It?s just a shallow review meant to be read and forgotten.
