I rue the fact almost daily that I chose perhaps the most pathetic ID on MS to write under, specially when I see MS ID’s such as the ones I am going to talk about. You will find what I thought of them first, just merely looking at the ID, in the very first line of description. I just wish MS could let me change mine…I have so many of those fancy ones brimming in my mind now. These are the most interesting IDs on MS
Criminal – “I carry a hatchet, watch out for your neck”. He indeed does, was known(and to some extent still is) for his razor sharp and unbiased comments and of course his equally sharp reviews. Has never bothered to post his pic(you mystery man!) and has not been given the controversial SW tag but he does just fine without it.
Nikamma1112 – *“I have nothing to do except being on MS” *. Raj…you are at risk of losing your title as you are seldom seen on MS these days. Raj, one of the very young brigade on this site, writes truly beyond his years. His haircut in his profile pic is something which you can’t easily resist commenting upon and I will leave it there J.
Zuludancing – * “Jhingalala”! * Zulu bhai seems to be trying to justify his ID doing Jhingalala on that iron bar on his profile page. He is one person you want to look upto if you want to get confused whether to laugh or to think when you are done reading any of his pieces. I actually end up doing both. He has god gifted funny bones.
Starpluswatcher04 – * “I don’t care what you guys think of Kekta Kapoor, I love watching all the K serials and you can go to hell.” *Ankita is a very well known and liked figure on MS. She loves to write on movies actors, music and stuff and does a fantastic job.
Main_chup – * “You know I know that you don’t know, but I won’t tell anything to anyone”. * Mishraji as I love to call him, is a poet at heart. He chooses varied topics to write on and does full justice to it.
Putush – Cutest ID I have come across this site, wonder what it means. Hope Shreyashi tells us. She is a dreamer and a voracious reader. Check out her latest review on Bangalore.
EVIL_OT_TO_LIVE - an edit after psyxx suggested the same. A clevery thought pallindrome which ought to live in my list.:-)
Wear_your_glasses – * “I am here to open your eyes”
Bewafa – * “I was cheated and now I am a man eater(sorry ena J)”* . Haven’t read her reviews yet so not in a position to comment.
Mariner2 – * “(I have been) Around the world in 80 days”. * I have a few words to say about Nandu…jump on to the next section.

I would avoid using the word best here for obvious reasons. With the kind of talent pool we have swarming on MS it’s really tough to put a finger on a few people. It would be a uninformed decision since there a lot of people who don’t write too often and failed to get noticed but they write fantastically whenever they do. I however will attempt to list a few writers whom I genuinely enjoy reading, these are the ones whom I have set an alert on and don’t want to miss what they write, not too often surely. Again, ENJOY is the keyword.
Mariner2 –A down to the core navy man, Nandu has shiploads of experience behind him and that shows in his writings. The natural charisma of a navy man, his crisp language(like the razor sharp crease of their white trousers) and a take-life-as-it-comes attitude oozes out of his writings. He makes it a point to lend a personal touch to everything that he reviews. I haven’t read many of his reviews as I seldom visited MS when he was writing very actively on this site, but I have loved whatever I have read. In a relative state of hibernation nowadays, Nandu can be seen dropping by in the comments section of some select reviews. I wish he would be back to his old self and write some more fab stories. BTW he is one of the most handsome men you will ever see in 50s. I am reminded of Sanjeev Kapoor when I see his pic
Afrank – She is the first lady of MS and actually needs no introduction. But can’t resist writing about her either. If there is one person you want to spot who has been consistent both with the choosing wide variety of topics and the quality of reviews, you don’t want to look beyond. A charismatic personality as she is, Sujata is a downright gentlewoman and has never let all the adulation and attention get to her head. I am amazed with the poise and grace that she presents herself with. I have learned a lot from her in the way she replies to all the comments with enthusiasm and courtesy which gets people flocking to her reviews over and over again. Writes once in 10 days maybe and reads only a select few on this site. Has a special knack of building of mole hill out of dust.
Akisha – Her last four reviews came at a rather pedestrian pace of once a month, but take my word for it, you want to lap them as soon as they are put on shelf. There are very few gifted writers who can say something as precisely using fewer words than her. Has great command over those words and phrases which you will always wanted your writings to adorn with. Sonika does not mince words and is quite forthright in both reviewing and commenting. I just wish she writes more often.
Zuludancing - I know I will have a grin on my face when I click on any of Aditya’s reviews. He has a god gifted sense of humor and you won’t have to test your patience to read his reviews which are short, witty and a laugh riot most of the time. I can imagine he must have an appetite as enormous as a tribal for his profile pages leaves you under no doubt whatsoever. One of the veterans of MS, Aditya is indeed a very popular member of MS whose presence is never a cause for envy but a very pleasant smile. We require so many more of his likes here. Aditya, take a bow.!
I won’t be in my right senses to leave out psyxx, matwalaboy, parikhmunir and the likes. Make no mistake they are amongst the very best but Rajeev writes on topics which I personally don’t enjoy reading too much(no offence there sir) and you have to use a lot of brain to read Mayank’s and Munir’s reviews. Both of them are what I prefer to call “purists” who write about serious and thought provoking topics. They drive home the point like no other. Truly gifted.

This is a happening place, people come and people go. Someone complained the other day that good people have left. I counter that by saying that some equally good have come in if not better. Check out Coolcritic007, whitedevil, rohitthebest, cticize and jrangoon. They are the new lifeblood of MS and not only do they write exquisitely but they are voracious readers and the leave the best comments which as Rajeev in one of his reviews pointed out is equally important.continued in comments
