Five point someone is a book written by Chetan Bhagat about three friends studying in IIT and their journey through their graduation the book is one of the best written by Chetan bhagat as other books the language is just simple specially for Indian readers as they prefer simple language the book is comic as well as romantic one. The movie is somewhat similar to the popular movie three idiots. The book starts with three friends three friends named Ryan who is a rich kid and the second is Alok is from a poor family and is good at studies and the third is Hari whose father is in military and then three friends one day decides to watch movie then they scores very bad and then Ryan tells them its waste of time then Hari goes for a walk to loose weight and meets a girl named Neha who was daughter of head of department of IIT and she drops her to his hostel. Alok father gets sick and performs bad in exam and then Hari and Neha meets at library and then they get to know each other and then they all starts studying for final exams then the results and three scores five point something Alok was highly disappointed and shifts his room with Venkat. Ryan was one day thrown out of the class and starts working one some project lubricant then on Neha birthday Ryan gives her flowers. professor gives zero marks to Hari then Hari steals the key for office and searches for the papers and was found by guard and then taken to HOD and then was asked where did they found the key and Alok tells him about the help of Neha and then professor decides to fail them and then Alok jumps from terrace and survives and Neha forgives them and the project of lubricant project was completed and professor was impressed and at the end Hari was placed and then Alok was also places but Ryan was not placed anywhere and was later later was taken as a assistant by a professor for a salary of 2k this was all from the story in short.
