Well, seeing the amount of rvus already being penned (figuratively) on this book, it seems almost pointless, but I am an Indian after all, so here come my rvu.

Needless to say again, the book is GOOD. Its really worth a read for someone who cudnt get into IIT (me being one of them lol). So, this is a story about three friends, Alok Ryan and Hari. Ok, so they r suspended from college, one of them jums off the roof, the third one has a thing going with his HOD’s daughter......and stuff.

Not normal stuff that happens to any IITian. Ok s they have a bad hair day at IIT. They are inmates of the Kumaon hostel in the IIT campus, and start off in Mech Engg from IIT-D. On their first day, at the ragging scene, they r asked to get naked, (Woah, not something that happened at my college atleast) alas, alok and hari ae fat, so they get the brunt which Ryan who has a gymnastic body, is asked to get into samurai positions (atleast thats wht I felt) then the guys try to put coke bottles up the a** of the alok and hari, however Ryan intervenes and the episode ends, bam bam big start to a friendship. we find that ryan is not in love with his parents and alok has a sis to be married off and other household stuff (moral, hes from a lower middle class family), hari however is happy with his life (apparently I cant recall any mention of his parents or stuff) they have adjoining rooms at the hostel and things r coming up roses. So ryan is a bit of a bully but dusnt matter, he thinks for the better. now ppl thats enough of a start. GO READ THE BOOK FOR MORE!!!

Well, all that I have to say is, this book is a really original plot book that I have read in a long time, chetan bhagat has this way of making the story interesting even when its slow (i dont happen to like slow stories)

so when u read the book, I hope u wud appreciate the effort of this author, whos has actually penned down a book worth reading.
