Never read any novel before by an Indian author. The first one I read by Chetan Bhagat - Five Point Someone was superb. Great narration, fantastic natural style, ability to keep the reader glued to the book are some of the qualitites of his writing. The characters of Hari, Ryan and Alok are typical. Gives a perfect insight into what is the plight of IIT students. Characters of Prof. cherian and his daughter are also well described. A completely entertaining session. Very good for light reading.
Infact, I also read his "One night @ the call centre". This one is still better. Infact it drives home a beautiful point which is "listen to one’s innerself". All the qualities of narration, style etc., present. The idea of the author adorning one of the characters makes sense. Getsgripping just before you thought its dragging. What a climax! Makes interesting reading. Looking forward to reading "2 States(The story of my Marraige)" and "The Three mistakes of my life.".
