My heart is (still) beating keeps on repeating!

What happens when a heart breaks, when you hear a NO?

First thing is you want to become invisible, just wishing that you were not there. All the hopes and dreams of being together come across, and a sense of betrayal also comes across. You feel hatred, anger, grief, disbelief, guilt(of avoiding everything from studies to friends for your sweetheart) and a tremendous sense of loss - as if something similar to a life inside was taken from you forever.

hmmmm

matters of the heart, difficult to understand, but easily felt.

’get over it and get moving you bughead’

that is what your mind tells your heart, and believe me, once in a blue moon it is worth listening to the mind.

but mind ki suntaa hi kaun hai? we tend to listen to wrong people at wrong times, we listen to the heart when we shud follow our mind, and vice versa.

no probs, some things are best taught by experiences!

there are 3 of the many simple ways to easily soothe the heart

a)Cry your heart out

b)Talk your heart out - to sibling, best friend, mom/dad, your teddy babul or whatever stupid name u call it, your wall etc and

c) listen to music

Music is the true international language, I would prescribe yanni and titanic’s music if I were a music healer! but no, the title asks me(very bad  again on the part of the title maker) to write down 5 songs(only) which are supposed to act like fevicol for your broken heart(hopefully)

[watching a comedy/inspirational movie, painting, gardening, cooking, reading your favourite book, and going on a shopping spree and spoiling yourself with chocolates -  are all other modes of doing things to soothe the heart, you can do also:D]

I digress too much, I was asked to find out music titles to soothe the heart, ufffff.

lemme try

hmmm

1)

Chiquitita - - - - -             by ABBA

actually I recommend most of her songs, for guys who have had hearts broken pathetically! the king has lost his crown is a nice song.(the king has lost his crown, the world is upside down, disaster and disgrace.). But chiquitita is heart healing at anytime

chiquitita tell me whats wrong,

you are enchained by your lone sorrow

In your eyes

there is no hope for tomorrow.

it describes your state of mind and then goes on to build it on hope,

2)

Ajeeb dastan hai yeh,

kahaan shuru kahaa khatam.           DIL APNA AUR PREET PARAI

The singer is a real sporty singer in this one, who sings with love and pays respect to the subject/hero here. It is a song which makes you understand that not always are the manzil/destinations of two people same, they have to part ways, but it doesnt mean that hatred should replace love,

true love always remains, if it doesnt probably it wasnt true love.

mubaarake tumhe ki tum

kisi ke noor ho gaye

kissi ke itne paas ho

ki hamse duur ho gaye.

wowww, a nice way of accepting reality, congratulating and still smiling,

no matter what happens, if you insist on staying happy your heart break might not even last an hour:D

3)

Allah ke bande.WAISA BHI HOTA HAI PART2

tooota toota ek parinda aise toota

ke fir uth naa payaaa

looota loota kisne usko aise loota

ke fir ud naa payaaa

.khwabo mein fir bhi baadal hi thhe woh kehta rahaa magar

another song telling you to smile, its healing in the way it has been sung, and the way it makes you allah ke bande/god’s blessed!, it describes the journey of a bird, how he learnt to fly, how he fell down, how he is betrayed, and how he will find God’s wish/plans for him.

we dont always get what we want, reason being  god has better plans for us.

And just when we lose someone very close, we realise all these things, the best thing we realize is how strong we are inside( but it take a lot of time and cardiac pain before we realize this:D)

SO

Don’t cry because it’s over;

smile because it happened.

Thank God for it, and your sweet heart too, even if she/he made u happy for so short a while:D

4)

yeh safar bahut hai kathin magar                              1942 A LOVE STORY

another brilliant gazhal by jaggu aka jagjit singh, and very inspiring one,

it just describes the journey, which is very very difficult, but consoles that it will come to end.the journey inside and into the past is also very difficult, and the first hours after a heart break are the ones where we dont want to listen to anyone, just cry.i think this song should be best heard after you have cried enough, it does try to build u up.

5)

Hope .SHAGGY

this was the song that really healed one of my friend’s heartbreak.i never really found out till late, why he would be seen only with a headphone mumbling sumthing so fast that I would think he was swearing! And I listened to the song, and still didnot like it, but then.

I read the lyrics, and realised that shaggy had been very fast for me, but wowww, what a song it turned out to be,

an excerpt.

’Son there’ll be times when the tides are high

And the boat may be rocky, you can cry

Just never give up

You can never give up, ’

please read the whole lyrics if you have not heard the song and are slow like me in(thinking and:) picking up words:D, but boy are they good? they couldnt be better.

I think a day or two should be the most you can grieve about any foolish person, who has been foolish enough to leave you,

It is sad, I agree, and there are so many irreplaceable moments, but life is a never ending journey, be strong, learn, be happy for the fact that your heart did beat for someone once( it shows that it will beat again at appropriate time), past should always be glorious.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make

you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you

happy.

The happiest of people don’t necessarily have the best of everything;

they just make the most of everything that comes along their way

ps.

Most important advice, all my friends from AA [alcoholic anonymous:)] have told me to tell all past, present and future hearts(broken or 1-piece) that alcohol always harms n bites the already broken heart, so no use in trying that:D
