Worst Bikes - Recent ones

1. Wind125: This was slated to sink Spledor & Passion with extra 25cc, extra features, extra looks and Bajaj’s superior false mileage claims. It’s gone with the wind!

2. Centra: One of the most advertised bike to flop in recent times. 100 kmpl and not 100 kmpl* was the ads of TVS. This bike doesn’t even achieve mileage what a 1990 HH CD100 achieves. Importantly TVS cheated lower income group who owned this bike just  for claimed mileage.

3. Saphire / Wave: Bajaj showed what they are capable of, producing these scooters with no takers, very poor performance starting problems and very poor customer focus. They are not able to match with Honda though Honda active & Dio are not really upto the mark except good customer focus & service. Bajaj will not replace Saphire’s front fairings if they are broken, b’cos they don’t care for customers. Even Kinetic scores well in terms of customer care, they will oblige your request to get replacement parts for even 1989 Kinetic scooter. But Bajaj will not replace 2003 model.

4. Avenger: One MS reviwer says’Feel like a DOG’, very bad in mileage, as low as 25kmpl, is the dtsi sys. working on this m/c.dog knows!

5. Enticer: Couldn’t entice continued enthusiasm it had at the time of launch. Upgraders looked at this bike seriously and many changed to Enticer blindly hoping that new YAMAHA India will bring out the best. But very bad performance and build quality.
