Well, the 1990’s was indeed the decade of changes in Bollywood.The choices of people began to slip from the dhamakedaar action movies to the sentimental, romantic movies.This decade might have produced some of the best movies ever, but it also produced some of the worst.
1) Mela:- Well, I am a big fan of Aamir, but this movie was the absolute pits.Thankgoodness, I guess we have seen the last of Aamir’s brother, whatever his name was.
2) Mann:- Sorry Aamir fans(that goes for me too), but this is another big flop by Aamir.The songs of this movie were pretty good, but the story was awful.definitely the worst I’ve ever seen.
3) Mrutyudata:- Seriously speaking, I am a die hard fan of Big B, but not even the great man himself could prevent me from walking out middle of the movie.an absolute shocker.
4) Karan Arjun:- I cant believe this movie became a hit.Reincarnation, revenge.etc, what crap.People must be crazy for actually liking this movie.
5)Anjaam:- Well, Shahrukh and Madhuri, the dream team they called.ha, I personally cant stand either of them especially after this movie.you just gotta see it to realize how bad it is.
Well, since we are speaking of bad movies, I guess we can add Lajja and Yaadein to it as well(released after 2000).Anyway basically, these are the type of movies which keep an honest fan away from the theatre.
