I am glad to be the first one to write a review on this topic. I was not the fan of Karishma Kapoor even if her performance as a heroine has not been the worst. But some of her movies, I have to say that they were nothing, but idiotic. Please write in the comments section if you have some other ideas.
1) BAL BRAHMACHARI
This is one of the worst movies I have seen in my entire life time. I don’t know the name of the hero of this movie, but he surely is stupidic - his dialogues as well as his looks. Karishma Kapoor seems to be in this film only to walk after this fellow and dance in mini skirts and sing which is absolutely ridiculous as long as any true movie lover is concerned. She has come to prove that she can act or she can reveal? There are some boring comedy scenes which make the viewers say that even Amrish Puri can act in comedy scenes better. There are even some copying from Ramayana where the hero is compared to Hanuman.
2) MRITYUDAATA
One of the most idiotic movies of all times which proved costly to both Amitabh Bachan as well as Karishma Kapoor. Amitabh’s come back vehicle just lost it’s brakes and crashed. This one of the worst performances by any movie. Amitabh seems to be trying to become younger than he really is and Karishma Kapoor has really chosen a wrong movie to act here. I think that she would have got better movies if she had been selective in acting in movies.
3) ZUBEIDA
I just can’t figure out which type of movie this one is? Manoj Bajpayee has got a flop to his name. Karishma Kapoor’s performance surely has not been the best and also was overshadowed by Rekha. A.R.Rehman has given some nice music to the movie, but I don’t remember any body going to any theatre in Ernakulam when the movie was released. All were saying that it sucks!
4) JAANWAR
Another one who makes the audience feel bad about the wastage of money. A story of a kid affecting the mind of a criminal and changing him into a good person. Akshay Kumar’s performance is not bad, but Karishma’s performance is not up to the mark. The direction too doesn’t seem to be good. Surely, this movie is not worth watching. You can only watch some good expressions from Akshay Kumar and nothing else.
5) HUM SAATH SAATH HAIN
Another one! I can’t stand it! Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Mohnish Behl share the honors or should I say horrors with Sonali Bendre, Tabu and should I say - Karishma Kapoor! This movie has nothing new and the crew performance is just average. After watching this movie, one may ask ’’Hum saath saath kyon hai’’? I can’t figure out why these people make this type of movies. This is one of those movies which had an empty theatre in my nearby theatres.
