I have been on MouthShut on the recommendation of a friend since 2005 but never really did sign up. I guess I was too lazy though I enjoyed reading the reviews. I do have my own favorites on the site – mimi_mou, paulsb02, fenil_seta, The_Reviewer, sndaya, pranay22, rohitthebest and many others. Reason: these are uncomplicated people with uncomplicated writing styles. They really write well in the sense that they write what they feel, not to create a sensation like a few people I know on MouthShut.
I have really been inspired by these people and I thought I should start blogging on MS but laziness has no cure. But one day, around two weeks ago something happened. I was on MS as usual and saw some ugly fights. That motivated me, though the actual execution came a good two weeks later. I had my topic: Five worst reviewers on MouthShut. I did a bit of researching and I had my bunch. Let’s cut to the chase.

Without doubt the spoilt brat of MouthShut. Loves to fight with almost everyone. Reminds me of juggernaut(who is again on MS these days though with a different ID). But while juggernaut’s contentiousness could be attributed to his age, Usman Khwaja defies all logic. Prone to fly of the handle at the slightest provocation, he almost threatened to start a communal riot on MS. He is too self-obsessed and self-righteous and anyone who comes in his path will be in danger of losing his balls or whatever(depending on the gender). Apart from this, he writes carelessly. Too many spelling mistakes and boy-boy will he admit to those. No ways! Grow up doctor sahib.

alk_ranjan and jbz7879 fought it out hard and fierce in the comments section. Any idea why these two ‘gentlemen’ sparred? Because by God’s grace they are both blessed with a similar personality – self-obsession defines them both, both are the I-know-it-all types. He went on and on about Usman in his reviews – I know Usman was intolerable those days but did not deserve the treatment Alok gave him. Utterly immature. I really pity his employees – must be driving them mad.

Expert at plagiarizing reviews left, right and centre she specializes in the art of shedding crocodile tears and does indeed suffer from the ‘Wolf Wolf syndrome’. Nandeeta has a big fan club – I really wonder how she has managed to garner so much support for herself. Thieves and plagiarists usually find themselves boycotted but this lady surely knows how to charm her way. What amused me was her ploy of calling it quits once a few members created peril in paradise by accusing her openly. Her friends rallied round her(check the comments of her review where she threatens to go). What gall, gal.
These are the front runners and I am sure that they feature in the list of other members too. There are a few more members who are not on my hotlist really but these three really take the cake and the bakery.
