This is a very frustrating experience that I have had with Mochi shoes, and as a responsibile person, I would like to share it with others and seek advice.
In July, on one of my trips to Cochin(Kochi), i had visited the Mochi outlet in M.G.Road. They had a decent collection. I picked up one pair of shoes and the saleman tried to tempt me with another, which I hesitated to buy because it had 3 inches heels and I do not wear beyond 2 inches. The saleman said that these heels could be cut and I could collect my shoes in 24 hours. However I had an early morning flight to catch the next day, and the salesman assured that I could get the change done in the Mumbai. That made sense so I got the shoes. However when I appraoched the outlet in Mumbai at the Infinity Mall, Andheri they said that these heels are made in such a way that they cannot be cut. They refused to exchange the pair and instead made a gimmick of asking me writing a complaint letter which the manager of the outlet said hed personally follow up.
Its been a month and I have received no communication from them at all.I am planning to approach the Consumer Rights Forum. Is that an appropriate approach? Or do these chain outlets have any other laws governing them.
PLUS - NEVER BUY FROM MOCHI SHOES! THERE ARE OTHER BETTER ALTERNATIVES!
