Nostalgistic is how I will describe my experience after dinning at the five rivers at manisquare kolkata, having seen the amazing hoardings in the city and also readin so much about the place in different news articles I went there with a group of friends.
You are charmed from the entarance itself looking at the door and the statue and when u enter u r in a different world altogether a wonderful piece of work, after lookin at the amazing ceiling the next thing we noticed was the bar our area of interest straight away, we sat on this round table and ordered our drinks and some kebebs, though u have to be a bit patient.
After ordering Indian food but the wait was worthwhile to indulge in amazing raan and on the suggestion we also had tandoori salmon, my god u wish to have it forewer, we also had gravys of roganjogh, and an amazing almond flavoured chicken from kasmiri menu not to forget the most amazing dal we ever had with a unique crispy rotis and a wonderful biriyani dont remember the kashmiri name, yaar food is unique in flavour and surprisingly light on stoumach, there was not even a trace of cookingoil in our plates, a rare in indian food, god I would really like to taste all the items in the menu.
