Flamingo resort is good to watch on the website..when you will enter the hotel it will change into a nightmare. Webs all around...you have to google hygiene...hospitality is shallow....the picture they show on the website are the same of the room, but the moment you enter, a punch of foul smell will hit your nose and you will have a headache and will not feel like to go inside the room agian, untill it is not clean and refreshed again. Some of the rooms are not even ready for the next guest. They gave us a room which was not cleaned properly. After complaining to the manager(or I should say fighting), we got another room, which was again not well maintained.
After several request the room was clean and foremost thing. If in your package, it is mentioned that you are going to enjoy some beautiful time in the hotel like an evening arranged by them or bonfire or beautiful set of movies or luxury room...bet me you are not going to get it untill the hotelis not five star. coz quality compromise is the biggest agenda in below 5 star hotel; provided they are not branch of any band/group like(ITC, Oberio, Taj etc..) if you are staying any sister concern or daughter company of any big brand then you can expect the quality but not in hotels like Flamingo. It was first and last mistake of my husband that he has ever done. Now we don’t rely on packages and offers. Its better to create ur own package. Search make a list and target. You bet....you will save hell lot of money + the enjoyment will be double.
I tell you...the moment you start enjoying any spot.....the guide(part of your tour) will come and tell you the time is over and you have to move. I got pissed of many times. Find yourself many things...you will enjoy more, instead of resting in hotel. The food was pathetic, forget about taste..not even cooked properly. At times under cooked and some times over cooked. To far from city, hence you have to shell out money from you own pocket to travel from resort to city.(it is expensive affair). The waiters and other staff members will always look for good amount of tip(again heavy on pocket).Hotel staff and other members are not very helpful in case of any need. No Medical assistance.
So on the whole.wastage of money.Please do not select this hotel for spending your leisure time.may be for enemy.
