Just About Average!

Pitampura, in the recent times, has seen a rise in the number of eateries and food joints. One of them is Flavors. Located in the Chander Lok Enclave, the eatery is not too big in size. It mainly serves Chinese and Italian food, along with a few versions of snacks. The location of the eatery is good, with the Ranibagh market and the M2K nearby.

One of the biggest negatives of this eatery is the seating arrangement. Since the place is small, you would normally see people ordering their food and munching them in their cars. The place is cramped and certainly not ideal for claustrophobic persons. I would never advise you to go for the home delivery option with this eatery. Even for delivering the order within the radius of 200-300 meters, the food joint takes more than half an hour. The staff delivering the food at home are not particularly polite either.

Coming to the food, the place offers a wide range of Chinese and Italian dishes. The pasta offered by the eatery is fine, with a good amount of veggies and a nice, smooth texture to it. However, the fried momos were a huge a let down last time for me. The Momos were not fried properly and they did not taste crispy at all. In addition to this, the grilled paneer burger too was a major disappointment. The burger just had a big piece of Paneer in it and hardly any aloo tikki in it. Even the ketchup provided with the momos was not spicy. Even the patties tasted stale at times.

The hygiene of the place too needs improvement. Since the place is small, you normally feel cramped in here. In addition to this, you can see the constant invasion of flies on your food. The positive aspect about this place is its range of prices. The place is economical and the prices would certainly not burn a hole in your pocket.

Overall, it is your typical roadside food joint with reasonable service and questionable hygiene. You can try out this place, if you just want to take a quick bite after hustling through the Ranibagh market. Otherwise, I would advise you to try out other options. Pitampura has better eateries than this one.
