Never buy electronics from this irresponsible comp

Flipkart used to give good service, I was a regular user. Off late they turned out to be worst than street side vendor when it comes to the quality of products they sell and their worst customer support once the money is paid.


I bought a smart phone in mid of Jan and it had issues in terms of phone screen hangs when a call is received. It was in between and I assumed this to be windows general issue. However the issues became very frequent day by day.


Since I was out of country, I couldn’t follow up with Flipkart. When I was back, I contacted Flipkart with the complaint in March. They right away denied to resolve the case saying their 30 day replacement policy is over.


When I escalated, their customer service manager me serif came in line and he declared saying that Flipkart cannot be responsible for products they are selling and they don’t care what happens after their 30 day window. He even went to the extent and declared they don’t care about the genuinely of the products and it’s customers responsibility to verify. Their stand is that whatever is the case, they don’t care.


It shows the attitude shift of Flipkart and I am sure to mark the decline of this company. I am taking my battle to consumer court. I did buy from Flipkart and paid to Flipkart. Why should I go to service center and deal with them? It is just above the 30 day window as per their policy and you don’t care on 31st day.


Beware, they cheat you. They don’t value your money. Do not buy anything of high value and required good warranty and customer support from these guys. Indian e commerce is not matured enough to sell high value consumer electronics. Buy from a genuine dealer, with  whom you can deal f2f.
