This e-commerce giant of India, with over millions of products, and millions of reasons to empty your wallet, is the one to root out for.
So you are high, and need an eraser to erase something that you wrote on you computer screen(the perks of being high), what do you do(not forgetting the fact that you are high)? You go on Flipkart, order a bunch, and get it delivered four days later(notice the irony? No?). Sorry for the lame joke. Keeping that aside, Flipkart is my first preference to seek out products.
The website has evolved through the years, and the upgraded design and interface is engaging and easy to use. Even a five year old can use the simple interface, which gives you a reason to keep an eye on them little buggers.
The exclusive marketplace to a few exciting products, it constantly disappoints(yes, Im looking at you flash sales). Then theres the mobile app, which feels almost the same as the desktop site. Well laid out menus, proper categorized products, and a range of options to choose from, make it a good experience. How you keep yourself from clicking that BUY NOW button is every persons struggle.
From electronics to the aforementioned erasers, from a plastic spoon to a garden shovel, you will find everything. Flipkart has a huge database of sellers, some are good some are bad. The bad ones are the reason that some hate this otherwise giant of an e-retailer(Oh! the prejudice of being the middleman). But it has to shoulder the responsibility of carefully sorting out sellers. It cannot rat away every time saying that the seller is it fault. People have reported to have had a terrible experience with such sellers. But I? Ive had a joyride shopping on Flipkart.
The service? It offers COD, which is dulcet to a huge audiences ears. Apart from that it offers payment through debit cards and credit cards, the usuals. It also offers Cash Back, within 30 days(do read the fine print of the terms and conditions). The courier service is good in my area, cannot say about other places. I have had received my products way before the estimated delivery date, HALLELUJAH!(i guess it has its own courier service now).
The packaging is generous, and be ready with a huge knife if you want to cut trough the packaging(literally). It has switched over to eco-friendly ways of packaging, recycled cardboard for the packaging, alongwith the bubblewrap(the best part of the packaging). The bubble wrap should keep you engeged for a minute or so, if you still are a kid at heart.
The experience Ive had with Flipkart has been wonderful so far(hope that it continues). The huge arsenal of products, with frequent sales, and lower prices, topped with quick and easy delivery, make it a delight to shop online.
