Horrible Service

We recently shifted to a new flat, and my wife ordered a Wakefit TV table from Flipkart, delivered on 25.10.24. The installation was promised for the following day, 26.10.24. However, no one came. Since then, we’ve been through a frustrating series of broken promises, pointless assurances, and repetitive excuses from Flipkart’s so-called "customer service team."


After the initial no-show, we contacted Flipkart on 30.10.24 and were promised installation on 2.11.24. Yet again, no one turned up. Each time we called, we heard the same scripted lines, including "senior management is personally looking into it, " but there was no action. After waiting yet another day, we called on 4.11.24, then again on 5.11.24, only to receive the same useless reassurances. It’s almost as if Flipkart staff are reading off a cue card without any intention of helping customers.


Desperate for a solution, I even visited a Wakefit showroom in Goa, hoping they could help. But since the order was placed through Flipkart, they declined to assist, even commenting that we made a mistake by ordering from Flipkart in the first place. At this point, I realize they were right.


As of today, we have an important function, and our TV table is still lying in the box. My TV and other belongings are left scattered across the floor because Flipkart’s team can’t get their act together. It’s shocking to see such incompetence from what was once a trusted platform.


I’ve traveled and worked in several countries, but I’ve never seen such shameless incompetence and disrespect for customers. The attitude displayed by Flipkart’s "senior management" and "professional" team is appalling – they seem like uninterested day laborers rather than customer support staff.


We’ve already shared this experience with our friends and family, and many have already uninstalled the Flipkart app after hearing our story. I also canceled a planned purchase through Flipkart and opted for Amazon instead, where customer service is taken seriously.


Today is the absolute last day I’ll wait for this installation. If there is a single professional left at Flipkart India, please do something and arrange for the installation TODAY. Otherwise, I’ll be forced to discard this table and purchase a new one locally.


In summary, Flipkart’s service is disgraceful, and I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before trusting them with their orders
