I ordered a fast track watch via Flipkart.
There were 3 sellers options when I looked to buy online.
I selected the low priced one named Crossales...It was 250 INR less than the rest of the sellers.
I received the watch and a shock awaited me..
The watchs second needle (displays seconds in a clock) is misplaced inside the dial. It came out of its original position. Out of my innocence I gifted my pack to cousin. He came up with this complaint of needles disposition inside the dial.
I mailed Flipkart which did not elicit any repression for first 48 hours.
Later I made a call and registered complaint for which Flipkart said, seller will contact in due time.
No calls came in, I got a mail saying that:
"We regret to inform you that Crosssales has declined your return request for by citing the below mentioned reason:
The replacement policy does not cover defective items. You are requested to reach out directly to the brand/manufacturer. Crosssales has added the following details as well: Customer need to walking to nearest to get the same replaced"
If the replacement does not cover a defective item, I dont understand the meaning of replacement in the book of Flipkart.
I am totally unhappy with the response, then there was a option if you are not happy with the seller you can launch your complaints at resolution@flipkart.com
I launched a complaint there too...Its been months since launch, I have not received any mails or calls from them.
This is the kind of response a online shopping network gives it to the customers at the end, I have repaired the watch at a private store on my own expense...
All I have to say to Flipkart is, "Life is a circle, what you sow is what you reap"
Dont get fooled by Flipkart guys.
