I have been buying things from flipkart for the last two years or so. Most of the times my shopping experience has been good. Their delivery used to be on time and the products were impeccable but things have gone a bit awry lately. I cannot put the blame squarely on flipkart it has to be with the sellers as well but maintaining integrity of the sellers on your website is supposed to be the platforms job in which it seems to slack.
This incidence was especially sour as it was the first time my mom wanted to buy something and it turned out to be a really bad experience for her. We ordered some cutlery from flipkart during the big billion day. As always I hoped that the package would reach in time, but it didnt, the one which was bought on 13th came on the 22nd and did not come intact as well. Nor was it the one she ordered, some of it was actually defective and broken at corners. Fuming with anger she said "I told you not to buy that thing online" I complained at the customer care and they kept we waiting for atleast 30 mins till my patience actually ran out. At the end they said that it was a mistake from the seller and it would get replaced in another 10 days.
Some mistake also lies with me as I should have been careful in buying from an inexperienced seller. Its a caution for all of you!
