Had a very frustrating experience in buying a laptop from Flipkart. Repenting on my decision to buy laptop from flipkart. Firstly I spent hours selecting a good model. Then flipkart says its ’available: and gives an offer which is valid for next 15 days. Also offers a "better price". For the selected product it was 6-8 business days delivery time.
Then thinking all positive I place the order on 1st, another mistake I made was paid in advance. Delivery was supposed to be on 10th. In between, I keep contacting the customer care and requesting them for item availability and to deliver it quickly. Cusomer vare said, item is available and they are procurinfg it.
After 10 days and my 3rd call, they cancelled the order and I was not even informed!!! They kept my money (big amount) for 10 days and merely said "sorry". Then they try to hide their mistake and place an order again from my behalf and delivery date as another 10 days!!
Another digusting fact was that the same item was still showing ’available" !! WOW!!
What heights of fooling the customers. They don’t have any stock for such costly items and just show available to all items. Only after you place order, they keep checking various vendors for product and will simply say "sorry" if thay fail to get it. There are NO RULES FOR FLIPKART’s side only for their customers. There is no penalty for them to keep my money for 10 days, then saying sorry and also stil showing item available.
When you place an order, you get an immediate sms, for cancellation, they let the user find out on their own, they wont be responsible to even inform. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.
Please think 10 times before ordering anything other than books from flipkart.
They are worth only for buying books and that too small amount and COD.
BE CAREFUL and do not waste your precious time here anymore
Personally I have lost all trust in Flipkart.
