NEVER EVER buy any product where after sales service is by jeeves(flipkart itself). Brands like Motorola, Masterchef, etc. are some expamples. These are generic Chinese items sold by flipkart under various brands with service promise of covering 15000+ pin codes, etc. Usually the service mail id will be like support.(brand name)@flipkart.com and service nos will be like 080-45XX1080/90,
080-69XX0880/90 etc. Go through the product listing carefully in case it is not from an established brand.
In my case, had purchased on electric kettle of Masterchef brand(generic Chinese product) on 20 JUNE 2024 which developed an issue on 12 OCT. Was advised to contact their jeeves service center which informed that it will be replaced, being under warranty and also being unserviceable by it. Replacement was to take place within seven working days. On follow-up was informed that after reverse pick-up(by 01 NOV), a refund will be made.
Today is 05 NOV and there is no sign of any pickup/refund.
This is one of the recent very bad experiences including non-delivery of ordered items after showing landed in city for more than 10 days(order ultimately cancelled by flipkart itself after enjoying interest free funds for weeks together).
Be realistic and ready for some VERY BAD EXPEREINCES also while ordering from fliokart. If you are lucky, everything will be fine, otherwise, headache and wastage of time.
