There was a time when people spoke very highly about this stupid little company, after taking all our hard earned money out they are now turning blind to us. Its difficult for me to say but Ebay is much better now!
I bought re-chargeable batteries in July worth Rs.220 for Rs. 210 and paid Rs.50 for shipping. I was conned by seller "WSRetail" who shipped batteries mfg in Dec-2011. I asked for a replacement and a irritating customer service exec immediately took down the request. 2 days later a guy picked up the batteries and 2 more days later another parcel arrived. There was no difference in the piece, I got the exact same piece.
Now this time the customer service executive couldn’t give a replacement since Flipkart has policy of only one replacement per order. I was forced to take a replacement in form of wallet money only.
Helpless enough I took that and ordered the same batteries again to check if the damned Flipkart does interact with WS retail to sort out the issue. Looks like they played a better trick and this time shipped batteries mfg in June-2011, again I asked for replacement. T
his time I was assured I’d get something to meet my expectation. 2+2 days later the same damn batteries with same bar code and Flipkart inventory code arrives at my door step. This time I didn’t want to give up. I made several calls going as long as 1 hour but where I ended up is getting told the battery shelf life is 10 years! Can anyone with little common sense buy that? There is clear indication on the battery pack saying ’Good capacity retention up-to 12 months’.
A bunch of these online retailers are mugging people online and all we proud Indians can do is either give up fighting or simple ignore it in the first damn place. Best is not to buy anything online.
