I brought few books from flipkart, and found their service good, so I thought that Ill buy some electronic item from them. So I ordered a 8GB sandisk pen drive. They promised to deliver it in 4-6 days, they took around a week, and I didnt get any reply from them. Then I wrote them a mail, regarding the delivery. The customer support said she will get back to me in 24 hours, and next day I got a mail from then saying that there is a shortage of the equipment, and they are procuring the equipment and will update me shortly.
At he end of the same day, I got a mail from them, saying the equipment has been procured, and will be delivered to me the next day. It has already been over 7-8 days, but I was still okay. But the next day, I got a mail from another person from their customer care, and he said that the product is cancelled, as they could not procure it.
I sent him a mail mentioning that I got a mail from flipkart and my item was supposed to get delivered today, and asked him to check if there was a communication gap in their teams. He replied back the next day, his replay was very rude and completely unprofessional, and he didnt even bother to say sorry for the long wait and the non delivery, and just replied on his previous mail, saying "he hope that the below mail makes sense to me".
After this experience, I moved over to homeshop18, and though they take a extra day to deliver, their support is good and professional, and they deliver what they say.
After this experience, I recommend everyone not to buy any electronic equipment from flipkart.
