I am a faithful customer of Flipkart from the time it has started. I tried buying book and it worked well, the delivery was on the very next day. Then I bought many more books it was all fine except delivery used to take 3-4 days which used to frustrate me.
I found the website trustworthy so I thought to buy Casio Edifices’ wrist watch and when I compared the few models the information was unsatisfactory. I narrowed down to two versions of the same model the difference was just metal bracelet (EX106) costed Rs.14140 and plastic strap (EX107) Rs.12, 450, but on the website they had shown that EX106 has no option and EX 107 has all the functions of this world and its Rs.2000 cheaper than the other.
I have personally seen these models in a mall and I had asked about all the functions and they were very clear that there is no difference between them except the strap and bracelet. Just to reconfirm before buying I called customer care and spoke to one of them and they started reading what is in the website.
I said I did not called you to read it from the website I can do it for myself tell me something more if you know, then she kept my call on hold and after few minutes she said sir what you see in the website its true what all the functions listed are the only function available.
To solve this confusion I just enquired with Casio watch makers directly and to my wonder They replied in an hour saying both watches are same its just the metal and plastic straps make up a difference. However, I ordered the product on 23rd and the delivery date was shown as 29th.
I waited till 29th but nothing turned to be working. I called them at the noon and asked them where is my product and the status in the website has stopped showing any updates after 26th saying the product has been shipped from Bangalore sort facility to Yelahanka sort facility.
When I called he said the complaint has been raised and the executive will call me in 8 working hours. In the evening when I called they told sir may be they might have faced some problem during transport, I seriously got irritated, I asked him did I fixed 29th as delivery date? no its your company did it, if you cannot do it then why promise.
Did I ask you to show the delivery status on your website and when I ask why it is not updated he say may be they have a problem, what I have to do with their problem? The customer care people calling me within 8 working hours is another lie.
I don’t know what is their working hours and it will surely fall into next day by then its 2 days than the promised date and any idiot will also supply so late so there is no point in your customer care calling me after the delivery, and I had told him if you do not deliver me the product at least the next day as soon I get the delivery boy at my house door I log into their website and cancel the order. I had ordered this to gift my friend on his birthday now what can I give him? Flipkart order? So I suggest that Flipkart is good for books but really bad for electronics and other costly items. Try to avoid costly products.
