I ordered Sony mdr ex60lp earphones on 17th aug 2012 and flip-kart cancelled my order after 11 days!! The reason given for cancellation was that product is permanently discontinued but at the time of ordering it was showing - in stock . I was getting these earphones at a lesser price on other store but still I went with flipkart. They took 11 days to cancel the order without giving any information. There customer service executive didn’t have any info and keep saying the concerned department will contact you within 24 hrs but I never received a call.
Then i wrote on there Facebook page and on 10th day they called me up to tell the ordered has been cancelled. If cancellation had been before i would had ordered it from other sites which were also showing out of stock after 11 days!
And in the end a word of advice: if you are planning to buy something on flipkart, call these people up, inquire if its available and only then proceed with the booking, especially, if you are paying upfront. Flipkart is not real time and does not display live prices.
