Assumption 1:Their service is great. Wrong!!
From my own experience and people I know, their have been several incidents where their delivery has been late, and they do not care to update about it. Origin of this assumption, the reviews they provide about their service on the site itself. They are filtered comments from customer who are not happy from flipkart’s service are deleted. Well, that seems obvious from business point of view, but that harms customer’s interest..right?
Assumption 2:Price is low. Wrong!!
If you just Google about the product, almost all of them will appear with lower prices on one or the other website.Although the variety of products on flipkart is amongst the most vast.If you do not find on some other reliable website and are in dire need of the product then go for it, assuming you can wait.(i.e more than their own promised time).
Also, one feature which is very useful is the comment section about the product. I would seriously recommend to go through the product review before buying(even offline)
