In my case they change their offer /discounted price saying it was a mistake.. I had ordered something for which I had to pay Rs.70 originally. Later (only on my follow up) they asked me to pay Rs.650 for the same saying that it was a mistake on the website. emails (incl copy marked to sachin@flipkart.com - he is the co-founder / owner) have been of no use.
This is like cheating (they even had the cheek to send me an email asking for the higher price!!). Would like to know if this can be taken forward as a police case under Sec 420, IPC? Consumer court mechanism takes too long and the final orders dont serve as a deterrent to such unfair practices. While the amount is small, as a matter of principle, it is unfair in my opinion
