I received product and quality of product is good. But reason of rating overall it as single star is.
When I looked at the box of the cable, I saw it is marketed by Flipkart which means it is either manufactured for Flipkart or Flipkart had negotiated for marketing, so that discount (around 45%) which was offered on product is nothing but a marketing gimmick.
I have seen similar practice in retail (Future/ Tata retails), where they manufacture product with some attractive brand name and then offer huge discount in those and advertise a lot.
In my view, I respect business model of Flipkart and like to do shopping here. Many a times I prefer to spend some more money but to buy product from Flipkart rather than from sites which offer similar product cheaper. But this type of marketing practice force me to rethink on my decision.
This type of marketing practice somehow looks as compromise with the genuinely which Flipkart offering from others mushroom portals.
Requesting management to please think over it, and if you are selling your own product, please mention it with proud that you are either manufacturing or marketing partner of that product. Customers who believe in your brand name they will love to buy Flipkart products.
