I have been a flipkart fan since the day I first ordered thru their site. What attracted me the most was the faster delivery and the way the product are packaged. I have ordered most of the items from flipkart and have recommended the site to most of my friends.
Recently I thought of gifting my niece a birthday present and I chose flipkart for it. I chose 3 products which were delivered though it was bit delayed the address that I gave was serviceable by Flipkart at the time of order placing. Out of the 3 products, one of the product was damaged so I thought of logging the complaint to flipkart for replacement.
And from here on, my experience with flipkart have been the worst!
Imagine you gift someone and the product is delivered at the doorstep. After that if product is damaged and you get the shock of the life that the area is non-serviceable and you have to send the product back to their office. This is what happened in my case.
I didn’t understand how come the product was delivered at the place and how come it became non-serviceable when product being damaged was reported. These guys are so shameless that they even dont know wht they are talking about and to whom they are talking. For the past 2 week they have been calling my niece’s parents to send the product back every time I complained to Customer Care...
For the past 3 weeks, I have been following up with Flipkart. Every representative that I have talked to have assured that the product will be picked up but the very next day a new representative will call and again tells me to courier it back to them and then only the money will be refunded... Such a pathetic service from Flipkart was never expected.
Still there is no sign what will be action. It is a very harrowing experience with Flipkart in terms of getting a damaged product replaced its not about the money that is involved but the faith that I had in Flipkart matters.
Its a lesson learned that never in my life I will order any product from Flipkart and will not recommend this site to any of my friends.Flipkart team delivering product on time should not be the motto but the after service also matters a lot. Your ads on TV speaks volume about your delivery but fail terribly in terms of replacement. And your customer care are full of english-speaking illiterates with no sense what they are talking about.
