I had order a Hp Folio laptop from flipkart on 25-April-2012.The delivery date was given as 6 business days.On 5 day I received an email from flipkart stating there is delay of another 2-3 business days.So I waited for another 2 days and checked the website to see what is the status, since I dont see any progress I called up the customer care and I was informed that the product wont be shipped and there is another delay of 2-3 days again.After waiting for one more day I called up again since there was no update in the website.The customer care official had no clue when they will deliver it, when I requested them to escalate a Manager named santhosh tried to put blame on me by saying they had mailed me adress proff and I had not responded to their email.I cheked my inbox, spam folder but never see such an email.And secondly he said you are welcome to cancel the order if you wish.
The product was at last delivered to me on May-14-2012.
So my advice is if you are ordering a High value consignment you may have to think twice.Probably they are good in delivering books and cd’s but not so good when it comes to Valuable products.
