I bought a mobile from Flipkart on 15th May, 2012(Order No.OD20515200959).Since COD option was not available for my town, i paid it online.I thought Flipkart is a reputed company, i will get my product within 3-4 days so I opted for Flipkart and paid more instead of getting cheaper deals in other websites.But I was wrong.Till 17th May, 2012 their website was showing my order as PROCESSING.Then on 17th May, 2012 at 11pm I got my Shipping details which showed that my order was shipped.I was happy that since my order was shipped by Blue Dart on 17th May, 2012, i will get it by 19th May, 2012.Again I was wrong.The tracking details provided was not working till next day.I complained Flipkart and they replied that Blue Dart takes 24hours to update the status.On 19th May, 2012 morning finally my shipping details was reflecting in Blue Dart’s website which surprised me a lot.Its showing that my order was picked up by Blue Dart on 18th May, 2012.So, i will receive my order on 21st May, 2012 since sunday is in between.
So, i concluded that if you pay them in advance they will be least bothered about your order and will show no urgency in shipping the order.They will enjoy your money at its best and utilise it in their business.If you pay COD then they will react quickly since they need money.
So, if you want to buy on Flipkart then please dont pay in advance.Opt for COD, if possible.My first experience with Flipkart was not good.I will not come back to this website again.
