FLIPKART CANNOT BE TRUSTED ANYMORE
They are the real THUGS OF HINDUSTHAN. If you try to read flipkart reviews on trust pilot below, you will find 100s and 100s of negative reviews just this year. People are having horrible experience with them. I think its time people shall teach them a lesson.
1) Every person who is writing a negative review shall also, file a complaint in the consumer forum, regardless of however big or small your purchase is. This country is changing and so shall you.
2) If you have means or you know a way, reach out to the Prime Minister of India to report against them regarding how they are conducting the business. Write a letter! and I am assuring you your issue will be addressed.
3) If you are a little notorious, make as many fake flipkart account as you can and order heavy items like refrigerator, almirah, etc etc. on COD in fake addresses. Or, cancel the order when it is half way...
You cannot trust Flipkart shopping portal anymore. This Indian shopping portal keeps providing offers on festivals & on other important dates.
But since last two years, I have observed that whenever a customers picks up a good offer [or whenever the customer is on the profitable side, which is obvious when a offer is provided] they will just ignore your purchase and cancel it outright. Actually they are not providing you any offers, they are just promoting the products.
This happened with me several times post covid. I ordered, my money got deducted and then order got cancelled. When you report, the customer care behaves as if you dont know shopping online and you have made a mistake.
I was an old Flipkarts customer, atleast12-13 years old relationship with them and I think its time to go local shopping again.
Recently, I have called them to follow up why my order is taking so much time to get delivered as my money has been deducted and everytime I call them to follow up, I requested them to send me the products asap & NOT to refund, i was ready to wait longer for the delivery but despite of repeated requests, they have cancelled it anyway. I have atleast called them 12 times just to request them that I dont want the REFUND, I want the products that i have ordered and I am ready to wait longer. Everytime they assured me that issue will be resolved but they cancelled it without any intimation and then telling that my issue was resolved. This things happened to me atleast 5-6 times in the year 2022 and atleast 10 times in the year 2020 & 2021especially when there was a sale.
The customer support is as FAKE as their management is. You call them 10 times or 20 for support, they with their typical accent and that typical fake sweet voices, try to convince that the issue will be resolved immediately but the issue will never get resolved for sure. If your money gets refunded for the order they could not deliver for whatever reason it may be, they will show as if they have done some great service to you.
A normal sensible person will find out many faults with them and he/she cannot be in good terms with them, they will just disturb your peace of mind.
Therefore, I am looking for alternatives. I have realised that the best way to shop is to support local shopkeepers. You too shall try...
