Brought a Xiaomi Redmi 1S phone from Flipkart considering a hype created by Flipkart.
Realized after 2 days of use that phone has lot of short comings and does not possess the qualities given in specifications, requested for a return, based on Consumer Right to Return within 15 days of Delivery of product.
Quite surprised to hear that they refused my Return Request, without giving any reason.
This is how e-commerce sites do business in our country, without any fear of govt. policies and legal consequences.
COD(Cash on delivery) option too does not work here since delivery man does not allow you to open the packet unless you pay him cash.If you find the product defective or malfunctioning in any way, you’ll have to struggle with Insensitive Flipkart customer care.
