Flipkart was the shining star of the e-commerce boom in the country when it was launched in 2007.
Eight years down the line it seems the star has lost some of its shine.
I wanted to order an ADSL router online. However, due to my mistake as well as lack of proper description available in Flipkart website, I ordered a DSL router. The shocking part was I was refused replacement of the DSL with ADSL router as part of their return policy. Neither they agreed to give money back so that I could re order the router I wanted to. Moreover, they have started charging for delivery. It seems they have snatched away our fundamental right for free delivery. Also, their dubious stand on net neutrality and support for Airtel zero has dented their image further. I sincerely hope Flipkart shines back to its full glory.
