Bought a book on Flipkart. The vendor did not deliver. Flipkart did not inform me of status. After active follow up Flipkart informed me that the vendor is defaulting, and I should buy the book from a different vendor. There was a price difference for buying from a different vendor, so I lost out on time and money. In all this Flipkart accepted absolutely no responsibility for my loss of time and money in the transaction. So net net - if the transaction goes through, Flipkart get their commission, if it doesn’t, no skin off their nose. The loss is to the buyer’s account. Since then I buy at Amazon and Snapdeal. Much better experience.
