I am very happy to edit my review. The experience with flipkart has improved a lot recently. I have bee a regular shopper from Flipkart and used to be highly impressed by their delivery system and customer care. Shopping from flipkart used to be customer’s delight but not anymore.
Unfortunately, my experiences started going from bad to worse(you can see some snippets of my earlier review below). But recent shopping experiences have just been great.Things started getting delivered on time and I got the best prices online and very fast delivery.
This is the good old flipkart. With each shopping experience I was encouraged to come back. I even got a galaxy tab delivered in 2 days with all cashback as promised. Very happy to see flipkart getting better. Still some issues with customer service though.
I ordered shoes and had to get them replaced with correct size. No problem - they gave me new shoes within 2 days but they did not collect the old one:) I don’t mind keeping extra pair for free(even if they are not of correct size) but they keep calling every 2-3 days to confirm if they can come and pick up.
This went on for a month. Then they send someone to pickup from my friends place in another half of India. I had send this friend a gift few months back and these people kept sending their collection person to that address for pickup while they are delivering to my address!
Finally after two months and nearly 20 calls from flipkart I was able to convince them to send someone to my city.Still not a great problem for me. I will continue shopping.

"May be this business has grown too big to manage. I placed an order for a mobile phone as a gift for my sister’s birthday. I placed the order 8 days in advance and got the message that product will be delivered in 3 days. 3rd day I get a message that product had been delayed and will be delivered one week late.
Since then I have been regularly tracking the product but it has not been shipped, Calls to the customer care are completely useless, they tell you the same thing which you can see on the the tracking system.We can also read buddy!
And the funny part is that the supposedly timely tracking system is updated once every two days! One day I get the status product is confirmed, after two days, it has been packed.OK.after TWO days it is dispatched from warehouse.Third day and counting and it is still not shipped.
How long does it take to dispatch and ship a packed product! Going through the Mouthshut reviews I see that this is nothing new for flipkart anymore"
