Flipkart, the e-commerce giant has been in market since so long fooling around. Not everytime, but sometimes. I have had man loy positive experiences with Flipkart. There will be atleast 100-110 orders in my history. But these 3 huge horrible experiences created more impact than those 100 experiences.
I have 3 horrible experiences with Flipkart.
After reading the firsr experience, you’ll start to feel bad about Flipkart.
After reading the second, you’ll start thinking whether to use Flipkart anymore.
After reading the third, I bet you’ll never use flipkart anymore.
#1’Worst ever delivery and worst ever customer service, worst ever packaging.’
See that title? It all happened for a single product. On last year october during Big billion days, I have purchased a Micromax TV( presently at service center) and a TV stand as a single order, prepaid.
They took 8 days to shio the TV out, and another 5-6 days for delivery where delivery person took 2 days neglecting the shipment. So it was total of 14 days. During that 14 days, I don’t know how many times I have called customer service. They kept saying the same old thing - Delayed due to more orders.
And what about the TV stand? It took massive 40 days for delivery. Yes 40 days!
They took 15 days for shipping the product. Another 10-15 days for delivery.
Product was out for delivery for 5 days. I don’t even know how many calls I made to customer care regarding this.
And after 25 days what I recieved is - TV stand with 2 bolts lost in a most dirtiest package.
After that I placed a return request. It has been more than 6 months. You wouldn’t believe, but item was not picked up till now. Couldn’t believe it? Check out the screenshot below!
#2 Worst customer service and Rude manager
When this happened, I wanted to file a case against Flipkart. I couldn’t type anymore. So finishing the experince shortly.
I have ordered something, prepaid using an American debit card of my dad’s. It was shipped right in time and reached me in less than 4 days.
When the delivery boy came home and asked me to sign the paper, he took it back and said order was cancelled. What the hell! Flipkart cancelled the order stating that it was illegal payment. What the hell was that? When I contacted the customer care and talked to some higher authority, they answered rudely and no improvement.
After 20-30 days, amount was refunded to the same card.
#3 This experience was so odd and that experience was an information about Flipkart’s dark side from an inside person.
So I don’t know if I could reveal it or not. Do suggest whether ti reveal it or not. It is some serious thing about Fashion products.
But still after all this, I prefer Flipkart if there was no alternative left for me.
But I suggest you not to go with it especially for Fashion products.
