Harrasment & Cheating by Flipkart

I bought a new OPPO RenoB Pro 5G(Glazed Green, 256 GB) on 30th March 2025 through Flipkart @ Rs 29, 990/-. When I found that calls connected through that new mobile was not lasting more than 10 seconds, I took it to an Oppo Service Centre at Lucknow. To my astonishment, I was told by Oppo Service Centre that the mobile given by Flipkart was an old mobile of 2022 vintage. I felt to get cheated by the Flipkart-Oppo collaboration as they sold an old mobile to me by posing it as new one at Flipkart website. When I asked Oppo Service Centre to replace the old mobile from new one, I was told by them to contact Flipkart. They gave one job service letter to provide it to Flipkart. When I gave it to Flipkart through their customer care, I was told to get one denial letter from Oppo Service Centre for its replacement.


Since last 4 days, I’ve made almost 10 calls to Flipkart to accept the ’Denial Letter’ and to replace the old mobile given by them from a new one. However, it appears that they only wish to cheat & harass. They’ve closed my complaint as ’Resolved" so the link shared by their customer care does not provide any attachment to upload the denial letter given by Oppo Service Centre which is mandatory as per Flipkart to replace their old mobile.


Even anyone can find out through IMEI tracker that the given mobile is an old one. But no one can find out that mobile is having any functional issue. Once mobile received, it was identified with functional issue, then only it could be ascertained by Oppo Service Centre that it was an old mobile sold by Flipkart on their online platform.


Now, they do not wish to replace it. Making a call to customer care is banging your head on wall. They only express sympathy and reply negative to replace their old mobile sold by them as new one which is purchased by me not even one month back. They expressed their inability to replace my mobile due to their existing policy and procedures. It simply means that Flipkart has made its policy to cheat people and harass their customers in collaboration with Oppo.
