I was in the process of looking for 55 inch TV, I zeroed to Sony 55 inch model KD-55X9000E which was sold at 134900 in Sony website itself, I thought I may get atleast 5 percent less than MRP,
But to my shock Flipkart was selling the same TV for 169, 499/- Almost 35000 higher than MRP.
This is absolute cheating, That too the seller was own Flipkart owned seller, WS retail which is renamed as OMNItechretail.
I even contacted the Flipkart and spoke to seniors, They couldn’t give me the explanation why they were more than the MRP, I called up Sony customer and reported the issue, They assured me that they will take action on Flipkart for selling more than MRP.
I would even file a case in online consumer court against flipkart as they are mum on this issue, I even pleaded them to escalate the issue to higher management, But they did not escalate this issue to them.
