Dont buy products from Flipkart using credit card schemes - it is possible that they are delaying delivery of goods and using your money in the process!
I urgently needed an Apple iPad and ordered one using their 10% cash back on credit card installment scheme. (order number OD30726013182).
The item showed available in stock (through their agency WSRetail) and mentioned delivery in 48-72 hours. After ordering, their tracking number showed the item as dispatched and also landed at their warehouse hub nearest to my residence.
From then on there was no movement at all. Their call center people kept asking me to wait for next 24-48 hours but they had no answer as to why the material was not delivered.
In fact, they kept asking me whether I had received delivery! In fact, they were more concerned about me reviewing and feedback about the conversations instead of trying to solve my problem!
Finally after 5 days of waiting I cancelled the order - which was immediately accepted and I got an instant confirmation by email and sms of the order cancellation! When asked about the refund their response was that it will be refunded in the next 12 days!
There is no way of knowing whether the item is really in stock or not - we just have to believe their website and tracking status. I think this is a clever way of using the customer’s credit card money for at least a week or 10 days and then delivering the material.
I don’t advise anyone to purchase through their credit card schemes- if by mistake you select this website then go for the COD scheme.
