I have bought from flipkart 5-6 times and every time the delivery was prompt and packaging is beautiful.
Since I have seen many negative reviews here I won’t say they are fakes because they might be not so lucky or they don’t live in metros where the service is prompt.
But as for me each time I was delivered between the time frame I was promised.I always opted for Cash On Delivery mode of payment and I guess it helped a bit too where the business end will be active to sell and earn the money. So I recommend to opt the same to anyone out there not only from flipkart but from any other shopping portal.There are now quite a few who allows cash on delivery like flipkart, letsbuy, nextworld.in, seventymm.com, etc.
Customer support has been good at-least they reply to mails unlike myntra.com though I have not been in real trouble only then I can vouch for their support now all I can say is that they responded for eg. - I bought a sandisk clip+ from them and told them that since sandisk don’t sell them officially what happens to the warranty mentioned at the website they talked with their seniors and responded that they will pick it up in case of servicing required.That being said I don’t know what will happen if it really require service only time can justify their promise.
But overall experiences has been good so far.But 1 thing for sure as som1 else pointed out here that they don’t have any clue when a product is going to be restocked and that’s shocking somehow.

As of today as I am writing this I feel sad as flipkart removed Cash On Delivery system for Kolkata region and do I exaggerate when I say that’s a shame.Most of us will agree I think; Cash on delivery system is the safest way to pay as far online shopping is concerned as we all have faced trouble once or twice at least when we have made payment through any other mode and with that being removed from Kolkata region and many others as I have come to know, Flipkart is surely gonna loose huge customer base. When I called upon their customer service they gave me some lame childish reason which is far beyond unprofessional ism.I loved flipkart but now after they have grown to be a name among customers they have turned to the same tactics as others already have.So flipkart is no different now.
