It has happened earlier on 2 occassions, but I had ignored it, as it might be one-off case. Now it seems it is a systemic failure at Flipkart. Just look at following observations:
a. SMS received at 9:16am for delivery before 7pm.
b. I call at 5pm to ask when is it expected, whole day has passed. Executive still says, it will happen.
c. Executive is indifferent to the fact that what he is telling is already known to customer from the website. Is there better answer that he can give. Executive has no way to figure out if there is going to be delay.
d. I call at 7:30pm once again. Now they ask me to wait tomorrow again at my place for the delivery boy.
e. Worst thing was that I kept trying the number of delivery boy they had given in SMS, it was constantly coming as "Switched off". On asking Flipkart executive, he says, it might low on battery..
Offline at retail shop is a better option when you can see and verify and dont wait to make a purchase..I had lodged my protest with organization (13081251022234), which I am sure will not lead to any result. So, sharing it here to alert others on their purchases online.
