With a stroke of dismay, I had not thought ever that I would be writing a complaint like this.but have no option than being dumbfound especially when one got such unprofessional kind of service from trusted brand. Having amicable trust on Flipkart I had placed an order of Moto E on launch day(Please note the time 14 May, 2014 12:11 AM), immediately got the confirmation mail which indicating that order would be reached to you by latest 19 May 2014.
I was elated and rest assured that that a mere shipment for Flipkart (but birthday gift for someone) would be probably reached to right person at right time. Since ordering mobile as first time in flipkart I had no damn clue that placing an order is not considered as confirmation. Flipkart does not commit and execute the action for expediting the process at first time.
Overview of the time I placed the order till writing the complaint:-
1) I had ordered Moto E(Order No: OD40514031575) on launch day i.e. 14/05/2014 at 12.11 AM) and opted the COD mode of payment.
2) Order was expected to deliver on 19/05/2014, Since I was out of station I didn’t pick the call that was made for confirming the order.
3) I enquired with my other friends who placed the order on same day and got the product long back.
3) On 19/05/2014 got a call from Flipkart regarding order confirmation and finally confirmed it over phone. Now expected to get it within 2-3 business days but very disappointed after devoting lot of time for choosing special gift for someone, unfortunately all the surprise gone for a toss.
4) The facts is completely out of my understanding, how on earth your team could not consider a final confirmation if someone placing an order through site. One could bear all the pain to explore and book the product on launch day but still no respect and feeling shown by company.
P.S: No matter when I will get it but purpose of booking was ruined and urging Flipkart not to repeat with anyone.
