I bought a samsung netbook from flipkart at 11:50 p.m. on 11th july. Next day I gave them instructions to deliver only through DTDC, first they refused then another representative agreed without any problem. Next day I received call from flipkart regarding payment verification. Which I agree that I had made mistake by filling my name in billing address instead of card holder while making payment. So their payment portal ccavenue marked my payment as "HIGH RISK". Ok, So I had to submit documents which I sent via email same day.After two days I had submitted the doc.s I checked order status. It was still marked processing. On 16th July(after 5 days), I receive a call from flipkart customer care, telling me that order has still not been verified and will verify on Monday.
Its ok, it take time to verify, but no more than 2 days.
I had made transactions on other sites too on same time and date and had the same verification issue with those sites too. But those sites verified my order in one day.
Don’t know what flipkart is doing. But I doubt, their work is not well organised and they forget they have pending orders.
And when I checked my order status today, I found that they have changed expected delivery date from " 17th July" to " five days from order" Great!
So its going to take 12 days.No worries, It was my last purchase from flipkart.
