I bought an iball cpu from Om computer solutions in Flipkart. Received a defective product (sound not working) so contacted the seller (seller provided ph no). At first seller told me to repair it from local shop. When I told him Im returning the product he tried to fix the issue through remote access all the while indirectly questioning my claim asking me if my speakers and head phones are fine (I checked them with another computer). When he couldnt resolve the issue he said hell send sound card. Initially I agreed but I realized hes delaying me so that the return period gets over. I raised the return request . Next day he called me multiple times and rudely told me to cancel the return request. He sent me message saying the same. I informed Flipkart about it and asked for refund. Flipkart completely ignored my request.
Later that day I found that the product sent to me was returned by someone else(there was a return sticker on the box). I requested for a refund again as I lost trust on the seller, Flipkart ignored again.
Meanwhile, Flipkart sent me a mail asking for a second payment for the returned good. I talked to a Flipkart agent who confirmed that I have to pay. It was the final straw. I told them Ill take legal action for consumer exploitation as they charged me twice for the same product, only then they retracted.
I should have got compensation for this type of harrassment. I could let go of it all if the product I received was fully functional. Even the second product is defective.
Hardware is cheap and flimsy, makes an ugly sound when turned on, sound is still defective (only one speaker plays), gets slow with handful of software.
Windows is cracked version and needs reactivation in every 30 days.
Conclusion: worst experience ever. I am done buying expensive products from Flipkart.
