Don't believe in attractive ads from flipkart

Worst ever service from flipkart.  Placed an order for samsung galaxy grand 2 10 days back .  Retailer was WS Retail.  Received a product in 5 days time which had multiple defects.  Have requested for a replacement and I have returned the defective one.


After receipt of the device they tell that my request for replacement was not added in the system and they have arranged for refund.  When requested again they accepted to give a replacement and took three days time and again I get a mail stating that refund initiated.  When called up, I again get a feedback that there was no request for replacement.  Again after 3 days when I again called up they simply say that the money has been put in flipkart wallet and I have to only make another purchase.


Having fed up with the whole episode I thought of purchasing another phone through another retailer and I when got into payment mode the system says that I have use the money with that specific retailer only.  10 days gone, no phone in hand.  Money locked with flipkart and after a long fight, the refund has been initiated and they have given 5 days time to get my money back.   Is this the way a customer can be treated that too when I desperately need a product.  worst thing is no formal communication at all.  All one way and oral only.
