I ordered a rucksack(Order Number: OD40714134632) on 14th of July 2014 and Flipkart guaranteed its delivery by 18th of July. The bag was meant for my wife who would leave for Kolkata from Delhi on 19th July early morning.
There was no tracking status for 16th and 17th of July. I even offered the couriers Ecom Express to pick up the product from their hub. After receiving no positive response from Flipkart or their courier partner about the delivery on evening of 18th July, I cancelled my order at around 9 p.m. from the delivery address, i.e. my office. Despite having cancelled my order the lousy courier status says they will deliver the item on next working day as Saturday according to their calendar is a Holiday(and the courier Ecom Express claims to work 7days a week). I was in my office till 9:30 p.m on Friday and the whole day on Saturday.
So much for trusting Flipkart and paying them beforehand. FLIPKARTS service over the last 3 years has gone from excellent to good to average and now its pathetic and hostile.
FLIPKART and ECOM EXPRESS please dont harass me anymore and return my money. Or, I will file a case against you in Consumer court. This is just the beginning.
