Flipkart selling bad quality books. duplicate books.
Flipkart has a wide variety of books at very low price. Of course like everyone else I was also suprised with this huge marginal difference and the way they made up with shipping being free.
So when my books were delivered, (Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintanence) I was quite thrilled, and when I opened it I found a book with very low paper quality. In the website they said it was an Indian version(NOT IMPORTED ONE) and they sell it at the Indian price.
This was not an Indian version (Indian versions have Indian price on it) but an imported version of very inferior quality. I felt cheated and was soon confirmed by a couple of reputed book shops at my place that it was an imported inferior quality book sold at Indian price.
Flipkart has a very good customer care, that is not because they love the customers, but they dont want to be taken to court for this. They have to settle the issue before we file a official complaint as that would go against them and they have to stop it from happening. So flipkart is sending someone to my house to pick up the book. Their comfortable and prompt customer service is the only reason they are not take to court.
If you are happy with 2nd quality books at a higher price than it ought to be go for flipkart, else for a first quality book go to a reputed shop and buy the book.
Yeah. I expect flipkart promoted MS members to reply to this review supporting flipkart. Thats even gross.
