To my surprise, FlipKart has started cheating it’s customer by displaying fraud and very high MRP of the products and then showing discounts to lure and fool customers. Same has been done with me. I ordered GR 303 Yonex racquet which displayed MRP as 890 and selling price 549.
Today I received the product and the MRP on the product was 620. I was furious and felt cheated so immediately called Flipkart customer care. I had even worse experience with the customer care representative. They were giving some foolish and non-sense reasons like MRP keep on changing for example tata salt would cost RS 10 earlier and now it costs 15. Can someone teach these idiots it take many years to take 50% change in the price.
If price keeps varying by 50% in just a week then what would happen to the economy. Anyways, I couldn’t convince that executive as he was like a pet dog of flipkart and barking the same line again and again and finally agreed for replacing the product but didn’t consider a return request citing that Varying MRP is not a right reason. sic. Later I called the manufacturer of the product, and checked the actual MRP, and to my surprize the actual MRP was 540. I double checked with them if the MRP was ever 890, just to verify the flipkart executive’s follish reason. But the manufacturer confirmed that this product has never so high MRP.
Could flipkart take some strict action and be serious on this or shall it be dragged to consumer forum?
